Life, the Universe and Everything...
For far too long I have resisted writing anything public on the internet. Having concerns for privacy and more importantly trying to protect myself from criticism. I also have it on my heart to write a book. Well, at least only one to start with. So I have decided to start somewhere and that somewhere is here.
I am a Chemical Engineer by training and have specialised in Process Control Engineering. I am also a Christian who believes that the Holy Scriptures (the Bible) mean what they say, and they say what God says. I take the Scriptures very very seriously. Now, some might say that "Science" and Faith have no compatibility, but I disagree.
My life is defined by my faith in Jesus and my relationship with Jesus and the Holy Spirit. All my other relationships are managed, to the best of my ability and understanding, by the principles that God has given us. Make no mistake, I love science and engineering, but I cannot do anything except by faith. So far I have not said what I would be writing about...
The focus of this blog will be those areas in the Christian circles that cause divisions between the members of the body of Christ. The reason for this is that the topic of the book that I have it on my heart to write is "The New Testament Prophet". This topic is super controversial today as it is one of the foci of a major disagreement between the Charismatic Christian Camp and Calvinist Camp. Even the Charismatics have different interpretations, even though they are not contested. Now this is not something new for me as I have had this on my heart now for more than 20 years.
So the start of public writing starts here for me.
